WHY SHEEP'S WOOL?

Wool doesn't just insulate against cold; it also helps keep items cool by reducing heat transfer from the surrounding environment.

The crimped fibres trap millions of tiny air pockets, helping to maintain temperature. The fibres also spring back after compression, so wool retains its loft and insulating ability over time.

As a natural fibre, wool offers a sustainable alternative to synthetic insulating materials and the fibres inhibit the build-up of odours, making them well suited to reusable products.

Wool also has a naturally high ignition temperature and is self-extinguishing once the flame source is removed, so your bevvie won't burn in the bonfire either! Epic.

Where is Wully manufactured?

Designed in Aotearoa New Zealand, your Wully cooler is made with premium New Zealand sheepskin. To achieve the level of craftsmanship, consistency, and affordability we demand, production is entrusted to a specialist manufacturer in China.

Despite our best efforts to keep this on-shore, at present, it simply isn't possible to produce in New Zealand at a commercially viable scale for a price that's affordable for everyone.
How long will my Wully last?

With a little care, your Wully is designed to last for years. Founder Em, has a prototype that's almost 25 years old and still look's mint! Crafted from genuine New Zealand sheepskin and premium suede, it's made to be used again and again.

Like your favourite leather boots or jacket, the natural materials will soften and develop character over time, making every Wully uniquely yours. Ah the tales it could tell...

Follow the care instructions, avoid excessive moisture, and your Wully will be keeping drinks chilled through countless barbecues, beach days, camping trips, and celebrations for years to come.
How DO I CARE FOR MY WULLY?

Your cooler is made from the real deal—genuine suede and sheepskin.

  • Don't throw it in the washer or dryer. Gah.
  • If it gets dirty, brush it off with a suede brush or spot clean gently.
  • Let it air dry naturally if it gets wet.
  • Keep it away from direct heat sources
  • The more adventures it has, the more character it earns.
  • If you’re a real clean freak though you can spray the outer suede with a suede spray for ultra-protection. Choice.

Treat it well and it'll keep you and your beverage chilling for years.
What is the return policy?

We reckon you'll love your Wully from the moment it arrives. But if it turns up with a genuine manufacturing fault or isn't up to scratch, we'll sort it, no dramas. That's your right under New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act.
